So today, i met with Eric who explained to me how we would run the MOCAP cave operation. i sent the gist of it to
the profs. But letting the cat out of the bag, we're going to lob for the video studio for several technical reasons for the MOCAP. test animations are to start in Nov. and big time studio capturing for january.
on another note, ive been working on the IP presentation and finishing the storyboard, highlighting which elements would be shot specifically for a 3D effect for popping off the screen and into the faces of the viewer. Eric also informed me
on creating depthmaps for rendering the blur effect in 3D space. white = clear, black = out of focus. We also spoke about how to animate the 3D cameras to create uneasiness when an evil character is on screen with sublte movements without causing headaches to the viewers.
may have to look into mats if mocap actors are being thrown with foam dots. not really a problem at ALL.
ill talk more with eric about the depth maps soon.
